The prophetic word for 2020 I received from The Lord is one I felt needed to be released publicly. Every year I pray for Holy Spirit to reveal a word to me as a vision for the new year. In the month of September, I was awoken several nights to sound of someone knocking on my door. Nobody in the house heard the knocking on the door. The dog was not barking, which is something she always does when someone knocks on the door. Also, this knocking sound would always stop when I woke up from my sleep.

This is when Holy Spirit revealed to me the Prophetic Word for 2020: BEHOLD.
As I listened to the Holy Spirit, and I continued to study the word BEHOLD in the Bible, I knew this was not just a word for me, and this is something I needed to share with other believers.
The first scripture I was lead to is the one about Jesus knocking on the door of our heart, and in that scripture we are instructed to BEHOLD, Jesus is knocking on the door of our heart and if we listen to His voice then we will feast with, Jesus!
Holy Spirit revealed to my heart that we need to look for Jesus in what He has for us in the everyday. 2020 will be a year of perfect vision (20/20), we will see and know when Jesus is knocking on the door of our heart. This revelation that we will witness with our own eyes will cause a massive heart change, and along with this heart change we will also be fed by Jesus Himself.
BEHOLD & DECLARE: Revelation 3:20
“BEHOLD, The Lord is knocking on the door to my heart. My heart is open, and I hear His voice. The door to my heart, life, and mind is open to Him. Now we are feasting together.”
I hear Holy Spirit saying: “2020 will be the year of tremendous clarity of vision. The answers you have been looking for will be given to you! The unfolding of your purpose will be revealed fully to you. Your vision will be perfect (20/20 vision), clear, and in full focus. This will be the moment I have been preparing you for, and it is the moment you were made for! Dreams will come true, and the full weight of your WORTH to me will be revealed for all to SEE! My heart is for you in so many ways. All you have prayed for, and more, will be manifested in 2020!”
BEHOLD & DECLARE: 2 Corinthians 5:17
“I am a new person in Christ Jesus, The old person is gone in Jesus’ name. BEHOLD I am a fresh and new person.”
We need to BEHOLD the new person that is wanting to live through us. However, before we can move forward with living in the new person we will need to look deeply at what that means for us.
It is difficult to live out your life in the new person when you still see yourself , and your life, through the lense of the old self.
Our 20/20 vision and clarity will allow us to BEHOLD the vision of the new life, and the new person, that Holy Spirit has created us to be!
BEHOLD & DECLARE: Song of Songs 6:10
“I am arising as the dayspring of dawn, I am bright, brilliant, and strong. BEHOLD, the banner of victory is waving over me. “
Do we lack the courage to be true to the person God created us to be? Are we looking to earn the favor, and praise of those around us?
When we get to the point of being unable to meet the expectations of what other people have for us, then we begin to BEHOLD the Lord and who He created us to be. In order to move forward with beholding The Lord in 20/20 we must remove our gaze from the person, place, and spirits that are really good at keeping our attention.
So often we look to make people SEE it from our point of view, but in 20/20 we will reveal God’s glory by helping our self and others SEE it from God’s point of view.
There will be waves of perspective shifts within the body of Christ. However, these shifts will not take place if we cling to fear and we refuse to open the door when Jesus knocks on the door to our heart.
As we shift our gaze from people and their expectations, it will be clear for us to shift our gaze to God. Then we will reveal His heart to others because it’s easy for us to know His heart for our own life.
BEHOLD & DECLARE: Revelations 16:15
“I am walking in God’s blessing, and I am fully clothed in God’s righteousness. BEHOLD, Jesus is coming quickly to get me!”
How we live our life in the new year will directly be influenced by our conviction to share the gospel, and to only be concerned with the Fear of God.
Once we are focused on Jesus, we find that the truth in love is revealed to us more than ever before. When we sit down to hear a Pastor preach their message, we will hear the Holy Spirit ministering to the deep parts of our heart.
The people in our life can only dive so deep in our hearts, everything about us is revealed to Christ and everything from our old life has been crucified with Him on the Cross.
While in our own strength, with our eyes fixed on the mountains, giants, pain, unforgiveness, and idols, we will only be able to minister to the surface – which is the behavior.
But when our eyes are fixed on Jesus, we are able to minister through the power of the Holy Spirit to the wounds that no one else can see, except for Jesus.
Even if what you are going through seems irrelevant to the purpose Jesus has for your life, Holy Spirit will use the seen to heal the unseen wounds of your heart and spirit.
BEHOLD & DECLARE: The Lord SEES Me
“The Lord BEHOLDS me, and I BEHOLD all that He has done, and continues to do, in my life. The Lord BEHOLDS what I do in the secret place when I am praying and worshipping Him. The Lord BEHOLDS the strength that I have, and He BEHOLDS my enduring heart. The Lord says, “BEHOLD, my daughter, look how much she loves me and how much I love her.”
As you walk through 20/20 know this, Jesus will BEHOLD you! You will feel His warm gaze upon your life, and that will be all that matters in every moment.
The wounds of the past have tried to preach the lie to you that this is not real, this cannot happen, and Jesus does not do this for anyone.
However, I declare in 20/20 that everyone who sincerely seeks the face of Jesus will experience His gaze upon their life, heart, and the daily activities that they are walking through.
We will be strengthened, and given the heart of endurance through this life. In 20/20 we will BEHOLD Jesus, and Jesus will BEHOLD us, and His glory will be carried everywhere that we go.
The KEY is knowing your true identity in Christ so that you may recognize His beholding gaze upon your life!
BEHOLD & DECLARE: 2 Corinthians 13:5
“The more I look to The Lord – the more I BEHOLD Him – I am strengthened, and my body is healed. “
No more striving, and no more desperate prayers for God to heal and to move in your life and the life of your loved ones.
The more we BEHOLD the lamb, the more healing we will experience in our body, and in the lives of those around us.
When we BEHOLD Jesus, we turn our gaze away from the chronic pain we are suffering in mind, body, heart, and spirit.
In 2020 we will learn to walk a life of someone who is healed. We are no longer going to walk around with the vision and the words from the past. As we fix our gaze upon Jesus , we are going to BEHOLD His goodness and declare His vision for our future.
Lord Jesus, thank you for Your word and Your promises for us over our life. Lord we let you into the deep places of our heart. We are responding to your knock and opening the door for you, You are welcome here. Lord, let it be true, that we will feast together now and for all of eternity. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
“Behold, I’m standing at the door, knocking. If your heart is open to hear my voice and you open the door within, I will come in to you and feast with you, and you will feast with me.”
