The biggest God wants your attention. The mightiest God wants the smallest part of you. The highest God wants to sit next to you. Not just on a Sunday, or while listening to a worship song, but in the small moments, when no one else but you would understand what’s going on.
Like when you have a deep belly laugh out of nowhere.
Or when you have a dream that could have only come from God because He’s the only one who knew.
Or when your tear-stained face is hidden in the darkness of your room.
Worship isn’t a performance. It’s surrender and vulnerability. It’s a heart set on God and Him moving in our lives.
It can be hard for us to be vulnerable before God. Especially when our fears and shortfallings seem more real than He does. But when we step out of worship, we make those fears and shortfallings bigger than the great I AM. Worship isn’t easy, it’s a narrow road that’s difficult to continue on because of various circumstances that we face.
In Worship is This: Four Week Mini Bible Study we explore what it means to worship God. You will gain the encouragement and the wisdom you need to know what worship in your daily life looks like, and how to start implementing it on a regular basis.
“I love each of Heather Bixler’s books and look forward to each new one. This is no exception. This gives a short Bible study, then a Bible verse to learn and contemplate on during each of the 4 weeks. Deep thoughts but in a format that does not overwhelm when life gets busy.”
